Tornado Watch: Update from Sebastian

COUNTY RIGHT NOW.

TED, WHAT ARE THINGS LOOKING LIKE WHERE YOU ARE? TED: I CAN TELL YOU, THERE HAS NOT BEEN A DROP OF RAIN HERE IN THE SEBASTIAN AREA.

JUST SOM WINDS, AND THEY HAVE BEEN KICKING UP A BIT.

WE HAVE HAD SOME MODERATE WINDS FOLLOWED BY SOME PRETTY GOOD WINDS.

THIS IS AROUND 9:30.

A HANDFUL OF PEOPLE WERE HERE TO DRINK AND EAT AT THE RESTAURANT BY THE WATER.

YOU CAN BE SOME LIGHTNING TO THE NORTH AS WELL.

A LITTLE FARTHER NORTH IN MELBOURNE, THE FOLKS ARE KEEPING A CLOSE EYE ON CONDITIO FROM TAMPA TO ORLANDO.

SOUTH FLORIDA IS NOT OUT OF THE WOODS YET.

>> FROM THE SOUTH, WE THINK THE WINDS WILL BE ON THE ORDER OF 60 TO 80 MILES PER HOUR.

TED: OFFICIALS FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ARE PREPARING FOR A LONG NIGHT THERE.

TYPICALLY TH HAVE TWO PEOPLE INSIDE THE OFFICE.

THEY HAVE NINE PEOPLE THERE TONIGHT WITH A TOTAL STAFF OF 19.

THEY WILL CERTAINLY BE WATCHIN THE CONDITIONS.

WE WILL WATCH THE CONDITIONS HERE IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY.
